A RESOLUTION APPROVING AN APPLICATION FOR FUNDING
FROM THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA'S
SSED ECONOMIC ADJUSTMENT GRANT PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the County of Butte recognizes the depressed economic conditions
of the county, and
WHEREAS, the County of Butte recognizes the need to strengthen and
diversify the economic base, and
WHEREAS, the County recognizes the need to support existing industries
and economic development in Butte County.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
1. The Board of Supervisors has reviewed and hereby approves
an application submitted by the Butte County Economic Development
Corporation for a Retention Program of existing industries
in the County of Butte for a funding amount of $30,000.
2. The Board of Supervisors agrees to comply with a1T assurances
executed in connection with the application and, if awarded,
the grant.
3. The Chief Administrative Officer is hereby authorized and
directed to act on the County's behalf in all matters pertaining to this application.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 7th day of January> 1986 by the following
vote:
AYES: Supervisors Dolan, Fulton, McInturf, Wheeler and Chairman McLaughlin
