WHEREAS, public service is a difficult and challenging
career; and
WHEREAS, the services provided by public employees are
essential to the general well-being of the people of Butte County;
and
LdHEREAS, the accomplishments and contributions of public
employees often go unacknowledged; and
WHEREAS, the personal investment required of public employees
often exceeds both the tangible and intangible rewards of public
service; and
WHEREAS, the Butte County Management Council recommends that
the Board recognize its employees.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Butte County Board
of Supervisors hereby acknowledges and expresses its sincere appreciation
for the essential contributions and personal investment of the employees
of Butte County.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors
this 22nd day of January 1986, by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Dolan, Fulton, McInturf, Wheeler and
Chairman McLaughlin
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
NOT VOTING: None n
