RESOLUTION APPROVING THE TSSUANCE OF INDUSTRIAL
DEVELOPPIENT REVENUE BONDS FOR THE CARIBOU MOUNTAINEERING P
WHEREAS, the California Industrial Development Financing Act
(Government Code Sections 91500-91574) authorizes cities and counties to
establish an Tndustrial Development Authority for the purpose of reviewing
applications for tax exempt Industrial Development Revenue Bonds issued by the
California Industrial Development Financing Advisory Commission; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors has adopted an ordinance establishing
the Butte County Industrial development Authority; and
WHEREAS, Caribou Mountaineering Incorporated has submitted an
application to the Butte County Industrial Development Authority requesting
a $2,000,000 issuance of Industrial Development Revenue Bonds in order to purchase
39 acres of land and construct a 55,000 square foot manufacturing and distribution
facility; and
WHEREAS, the Butte County Industrial Development Authority has approved
the application submitted by Caribou Mountaineering Incorporated and has
transmitted the application to the Board of Supervisors; and
WHEREAS, on February 4, 1986 the Board of Supervisors held a public
hearing on the Caribou Mountaineering Incorporated application for an issuance
of Industrial Development Revenue Bonds.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that this Board of Supervisors hereby
approves the Caribou Mountaineering incorporated application for a $2,000,000
issuance of Industrial Development Revenue Bonds and authorizes the Butte County
Industrial Development Authority to submit said application to the California
Industrial Development Financing Advisory Commission.
