RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO ESTABLISH COUNTY SERVICE
AREA NO. 97 - STONY BROOK ESTATES SUBDIVISION -
STREET LIGHTING AND STORM DRAINAGE MAINTENANCE
WHEREAS, pursuant to Title III, Division II, Part 2,
Chapter 3 of the Government Code of the State of California,
James A. and Janice Tuttle have petitioned the Local Agency
Formation Commission for the formation of County Service Area
No. 97; and
WHEREAS, the Local Agency Formation Commission of the
County of Butte has approved the formation of County Service
Area No. 97.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED that County
Service Area No. 97 is proposed to be established under the
terms of the aforesaid chapter in the unincorporated area of
Butte County.
1. The boundary lines of the territories proposed
for inclusion in the county service area are described in
Exhibit A attached hereto and made a part hereof by this
reference.
2. The county service area shall be called County
Service Area No. 97 (Stony Brook Estates Subdivision). The
types of extended service to be provided are street lighting
and storm drain maintenance.
3. The Board intends to levy a service charge to
pay for the above-mentioned services in County Service Area
No. 97. The service charge will be assessed in accordance
with Government Code Section 25210.77(a) and the Butte County
Code, Sections 21--85 through 21-90. Said service charge will
not be assessed until review and adoption of a report to be
considered at a public hearing scheduled for the 86-87 fiscal
year.
On April 1 1986, at 11:00 a.m. a public hearing
will be held on the establishment of said area.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of
Supervisors on this 19th day of February 1986, by the
following vote:

Parcel 3, as shown on that certain Parcel. Map entitled, "The
