RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS AMENDING
RESOLUTION N0. 81-182
WHEREAS, on August 4, 1981 the Butte County Board of Supervisors
adopted Resolution 81-182, which resolution adopted Environmental Review
Guidelines; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to revise the Environmental Review
Guidelines relative to the list of ministerial projects (those not subject
to environmental review); and
WHEREAS, in accordance with Section 15268 of the California
Qulaity Act Guidelines, the County is allowed to specify additional
ministerial projects based upon its analysis of its own laws; and
WHEREAS, the reconstruction of existing highways, streets,
and roads, and resurfacing with bituminous seal coat or asphalt concrete
overlay do not create environmental impacts where additional right-of-way
is not involved.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors
that Appendix B of the Butte County Environmental Review Guidelines
for ministerial projects be amended to read as follows:
7. Reconstruction of existing highways, streets, and roads,
and resurfacing with bituminous seal coat and asphalt concrete overlay
within already established right-of-ways.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors
on the 19th Day of February, 1986, by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Dolan, Fulton, McInturf and Chairman McLaughlin
NOES: None
ABSENT: Supervisor Nheeler
NOT VOTING: None
