'~~, -i ~''}, COUNTY OF E3l1TLE; S7-AT~ C~;= CALIFORNIA Resolufion No.86-35 RESOLUTION IN APPRECIATION OF RAY JOHNSTON WHEREAS, Ray Johnston has been a Butte County resident and District Ranger of the La Porte District in the Plumas National Forest since 1978; and WHEREAS, Ray's dedication and efforts. toward proper utilization and conservation of Plumas National Forest resources have provided immeasureable benefit to the citizens of Butte County and Northern California; and WHEREAS, his willingness to devote personal time and effort to leadership roles in Future Farmers of America, 4-H Club activities and church activities have made our communities better places in which to live; and 4lHEREAS, Ray Johnston will be availing himself of opportunity for career advancement by transferring to Region 8 in Atlanta, Georgia effective immediately. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors of Butte County do herewith express our sincere appreciation to Ray Johnston for having played an exemplary role as a United States Forest Service District Ranger-and as a Butte County citizen. In addition, we extend our best wishes for the best of success, health and happiness in all of Ray's future endeavors.
