RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY OF BUTTE
APPROYIN6 THE APPLICATION AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF A
GRANT CONTRACT WITH THE CALIFORNIA ARTS COUNCIL
WHEREAS, the California Arts Council and the California State Legisla-
ture have established a State-Local Partnership Program designed to encourage
1oca1 cultural planning and decision-making and to reach previously underserved
constituents; and
WHEREAS, an application for the arts in the County of Butte has now
been submitted to the Board of Supervisors.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte does hereby approve of the grant application as submitted to
the California Arts Council by the Butte County Arts Commission and designates
the Chairman of the Board of Supervisors to execute the 1986-87 State-Local
Partnership Program grant contract with the California Arts Council, contingent
upon approval of the application by the California Arts Council.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 18tH day of March 1986
by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Dolan, Fulton, McInturf, Wheeler and Chairman Fulton
