RESOLUTION OF THE COUNTY OF BUTTE ANNEXING
TERRITORY TO COUNTY SERVICE AREA NO. 25
(BURNAP SUBDIVISION)
IJHEREAS, Stan Briggs has petitioned the Local Agency Formation
Commission for inclusion of his parcel within County Service Area Glo. :•?5;
and
WHEREAS, the Butte County Local Agency Formation Commission
has approved this annexation and designated it: 86-5 - Burnap
Subdivision - Annexation to County Service Area No. 25, the exterior
boundaries of which are described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made
a part hereof by this reference; and
WHEREAS, the Butte County Local Agency Formation Commission
has duly approved and authorized the Board of Superviosors to annex such
territory without notice and hearing by the Board and without an election;
and
WHEREAS, the territory is uninhabited; and
1JHEREAS, the reason for this annexation is to provide storm
drainage.
NOtd, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that said territory described
in Exhibit "A" designated as 86-5 - Burnap Subdivision - Annexation
to County Service Area No. 25 is hereby annexed to and included within
the boundaries of County Service Area No. 25.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said territory shall be taxed to
pay any indebtedness or liability of County Service Area No. 25 prior
to or existing at the time of annexation.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said territory shall pay a fee of
$555.12 per acre for land being annexed to the district. The acreage
used for this calculation is total acreage, less the acreage contained
in easements for County Service Area No 25.
PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE Butte County Board of Supervisors
on this 15th day of April 1986, by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Doran, Fulton> McInturf, Wheeler and Chairman McLaughlin
NOES: None
