WWEREAS, the District Attorney of Butte County desires to under-
take a certain project designated Child Abuser Vertical Prosecution {CAVP)
Program to be funded in part from funds made available through state general
funds as authorized by Chapter 1097, Child Abusers Vertical Prosecution
Program, administered by the Office of Criminal Justice Planning {hereafter
referred to as OCJP).
NOW, THEREFORE, 8E I7 RESOLVED that the Chief Administrative
Officer of the County of Butte is authorized, on its behalf, to submit
the attached application for grant funds for law enforcement purposes
to OCJP and is authorized to execute on behalf of the County of Butte
the attached grant award for law enforcement purposes, including any exten-
sions or amendments thereof.
BE IT FURTWER RESOLVED that grant funds received hereunder shall
not be used to supplant expenditures controlled by this body.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors
this 6th day of May 1986 by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Dolan, Fulton, McInturf and Vice Chairman Wheeler
NOES: None
ABSENT: Chairman PScLaughTin
NOT VOTING: None
