HomeMy WebLinkAbout86-068~. ,~ r~ .~ id _, i - ~' BOARD OF ~UPERVISaRS CQUNTY pF .BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA Resolution No. 86-68 RESOLUTION DECLARING DWELLING SUBSTANDARD AND A NUISANCE WHEREAS, the Butte County Board of Supervisors has conducted a public hearing to determine if the dwelling located at 4871 Virginia Avenue, Oroville, California should be declared a nuisance; and, WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors has heard the evidence presented at the hearing regarding the condition of the dwelling at said location; and, WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors has found that the dwelling at 4871 Virginia Avenue is in such a state of disrepair and dilapi- dation that is constitutes a nuisance under Section 17980 of the California Health and Safety Code; and, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte that the owner of the dwelling located at 4871 Virginia Avenue is hereby directed to abate the nuisance within thirty (30) days after the date of pasting on said premises a notice of passage of said resolution. Said resolution shall direct the owner of the premises to have the building properly reconstructed or repaired, nr have the same razed or removed. Said resolution shall further notify the owner that if the nuisance is not abated, the building will be razed or removed by the Butte County Health Department and the expense thereof made a lien on the lot or parcel of land on which the building is located. -2- PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors this 20th day of _ MaY 1986 by the following vote: AYES: Supervisors Dolan, Fulton, McInturf, Wheeler and Chairman McLaughlin NOES: None ABSENT: None NOT VOTING: None r . ~- ---- ED cLAUG LIN Chairman of the Butte County Board of Supervisors ATTEST: MARTIN J.
