Resolufion No. 86-72
JOB TRAINING PARTNERSHIP ACT PROGRAM
TRANSFER OF RESPONSIBILITY RESO WTION
WHEREAS, the County of Butte is the administering entity and grant
recipient of the Job Training Partnership Act ~J.T.P.A} and;
WHEREAS, the County of Butte and the Private Industry Council of Butte
County, Inc. have agreeded to transfer the responsibility for administering and
receiving funds for the J.T.P.A program;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the County of Butte will transfer
the responsibility to the PIC for administering the J.T.P.A and for receiving
J.T.P.A funds effective June 28, 1986;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Private Industry Council
will assume all outstanding J.T.P.A contract obligations and encumbrances effective
June 28, 1986;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the County of Butte will
transfer to the Private Industry Council ali of the J.T.P.A property and equipment
and therefore be relieved of the accountability for said property;
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte,
State of California, this 3rd day of June 1986 by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Dolan, McInturf, Wheeler and Chairman McLaughlin
NOES: None
ABSENT: Supervisor Fulton
NOT VOTING: None
