WHEREAS, Roy Payne has been employed with the Pacific Gas and Electric
Company since October 1, 1953; and
WHEREAS, Roy Payne's long service with Pacific Gas and Electric Company
ended with his retirement in Chico in July 1986; and
WHEREAS, Roy Payne's employment as special representative for the
division manager in part entailed him to be the eyes and ears of PG&E.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that this Board of Supervisors, on
its own behalf, and on behalf of the citizens of the County of Butte, expresses
its sincere appreciation for the outstanding services of Roy Payne.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Board wishes Roy Payne and his wife
Shirley the very best in their retirement.
PASSED AND ADOPTED BY the Board of Supervisors, County of Butte, State
of California this 19th day of August, 1986 by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Wheeler, Dolan, McInturf and Chairman McLaughlin
NOES: None
ABSENT: Supervisor Fulton
NOT VOTING: None
