TAX SALE PROCEIDS
V~RE',AS Revenue and Taxation Code section 4675 authorizes persons designated
as "parties of interest" to claium excess proceeds from any tax sale by the state
within one year following recordation of the tax collector's deed to the purchaser,
and
~F,AS Revenue and Taxation Code section 4675.1 ei[~powpxs this Board to
authorize any county officers to perform on its behalf any act required or
authorized to be performed by the Board under section 4675.
NOW THIIt~'ORE BE IT RESQLVED that the Treasurer~i'ax Collector of Butte County
is authorized to act on behalf of the Board of Supervisors on claims for excess
tax sale proceeds made under the provisions of Revenue and Taxation Code section
4675.
