RESOLUTION ACCEPTING OFFER OF DEDICATION~~.~ `~ ~.~ ~~
OF SOUTHGATE LANE AS A PUBLIC ROAD

WHEREAS, various portions of Southgate Lan re"'~""'

offered for dedication to the County of Butte on May 19, 1981,863154
September 15, 1981 and November 15, 1983; and,
WHEREAS, the County of Butte, at those times did not
accept such offers; and,
WHEREAS, the County of Butte now desires to accept
those portions of Southgate Lane as shown on the parcel maps
as recorded at Book 83, Pages 4 and 5 and Book 86, Pages 94
and 95 and Book 93, Pages 95 and 96 of Official Maps of Record,
respectively, recorded in the office of the Butte County Recorder,
County of Butte, State of California;
WHEREAS, the public wishes to accept the offer of
dedication at this time; and
WHEREAS, County of Butte will not maintain said
Southgate Lane until such time as CalTrans has notified County
of Butte that its project on said Southgate Lane is completed
and County of Butte has accepted said project as completed;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that this Board does
hereby accept the offers of dedication as a public road, that
particular road known as Southgate Lane, and more particularly
set forth in Book 83, Pages 4 and 5 and Book 86, Pages 94 and
95 and Book 93, Pages 95 and 96, respectively, of Official Maps
of Record, recorded in the office of the Butte County Recorder,
County of Butte, State of California.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the County of Butte will
not maintain said Southgate Lane until such time as CalTrans
has notified County of Butte that its project on said Southgate

Lane is completed and County of Butte has accepted said project
as completed; and
BE IT FiJRTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of this Board
shall cause a certified copy of this Resolution, with the seal
of the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of
California, to be recorded in the office of the Recorder of the
County of Butte, State of California.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of
Supervisors this 2nd day of December 1986, by the
following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Dolan, Fulton, McInturf, Wheeler and Chairman McLaughlin
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
