WHEREAS, the County of Butte recognizes the need for a Revolving
Loan Fund, economic stabilization, and diversification of the economic base,
and
WHEREAS, the mission of the Revolving Loan Fund is to foster
economic development by providing direct assistance to local existing and
new businesses creating job opportunities for our citizens,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the County of Butte, a multi-county
application is approved for submission to the State of California for an
allocation of $100,000 to be used as match funds for the Tri-County Economic
Development application to the U.S. Department of Commerce, Economic
Development Administration $375,000 Revolving Loan Fund.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 20th dap of January, 1987 by the Board of
Supervisors of the County of Butte by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Fulton, Mclnturf, McLaughlin, Vercruse and
Chair Dolan.
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
NOT VOTING: None
