RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO ESTABLISH COUNTY SERVICE AREA
N0. 98 - ORO MONTE ESTATES DRAINAGE
WHEREAS, pursuant to Title ITT, Division II, Part 2, Chapter 3 of
the Government Code of the State of California, Grove Ranches, Inc. have
petitioned the Local Agency formation Commission for the formation of County
Service Area No. 98; and
WHEREAS, the Local Agency Formation Commission of the County of
Butte has approved the formation of County Service Area No. 98.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED that County Service Area No.
98 is proposed to be established under the terms of the aforesaid chapter in
the unincorporated area of Butte County.
1. The boundary lines of the territories proposed for inclusion
in the county service area are described in Exhibit A attached hereto and
made a part hereof by this reference.
2. The county service area shall be called County Service Area
No. 98 (Oro Nonte Estates Drainage). The type of extended service to be
provided is drainage maintenance.
3. The Board intends to levy a service charge to pay for the
above-mentioned services in County Service Area No. 98. The service charge
will be assessed in accordance with Government Code Section 25210.77(a) and
the Butte County Code, Sections 21-85 through 21-90. Said service charge
will not be assessed until review and adoption of a report to be considered
at a public hearing scheduled for the 87-88 fiscal year.
On April 7 1987, at 11:00 ~ a public hearing will be held
on the establishment of said area.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors on this
3rd day of March 1987, by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Fulton, McInturf, McLaughlin, Vercruse and Chair Dolan
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
NOT VOTING: None

DESCRIPTION OF LANDS TO BE INCLUEDED IN
COUNTY SERVICE STORM DRAINAGE MAINTENANCE DISTRICT
All that certain real property situate in the unincorporated
area of the County of Butte, State of California, more parti-
cularly described as follows:
Being Parcel 4 as shown on that certain Parcel Map for Grove
Ranches., Inc, which map was filed in the Office of the Record-
er of Butte County, California, ~in Book 99 of Parcel Maps at
page 32 and being a portion of the Southwest quarter of the
Southwest quarter of Section 14, and the Southeast quarter of
the Southeast quarter of Section 15, Township 23 North, Range
3 East, M.D.B. & M. and being more particularly described as
follows:
BEGINNING~at the Southwest corner of said Section 14; thence
following along the boundary line of said Parcel 4, South 89°
46' 41" East for 1122.35 feet; thence North 0° 11' 23" East
for 1324.52 feet; thence South 89° 48' 32" West for 1122.58
feet; thence North 89° 04' 15" West for 227.63 feet; thence
South 15° 28' 48" West for 970.72 feet; thence North 88° 17'
OS" West for 391.01 feet to the beginning of a tangent 30.00
foot radius return curve; thence following along the arc of
said curve, through a central angle of 103° 45' S6" for an arc
distance of 54,33 feet to the end of said curve; thence South
15° 2$' 48" West far 123.55 feet to the point of cusp of a
tangent 30.00 foot radius curve; thence following along the
arc of said curve, Northeasterly through a central angle of
76° 14' 04"~ for an arc distance of 39.92 feet to the end of
said curve; thence South 88° 17' 08" East for 520.48 feet to
the beginning of a tangent 330.00 foot radius curve to the
left; thence following along the arc of said curve, through a
central angel of 37° 49' S1" for an arc distance of 217.89
feet; thence South 25° 03' 40" East for 424.92 feet to the
point of beginning, containing 43.41 acres, more or less.
