HomeMy WebLinkAbout87-024r OQ e %0 * _ ... _. .. :~~ =~: BOARD OF SUPERVISORS `* ~ ~ ~i ~'OUNTY nF L~3TTE, STATE Or CALlFOftNIA r :y • _ i~ ' t~ as,~ L•0~~~~+*' Resolufion No. a~-24 +.,~~.~• FEES FOR COURT AUTOiw1ATED 4JARRANT SYSTEP1S WHEREAS, AB 2989 (Chapter 151, Statutes of 1986) allows a county Board of Supervisors by resolution to authorize the courts of the county to impose an assessment of $7 on every person convicted of failure to appear or failure to pay a fine for vehicle code violations; and L~dHEREAS, the court clerk is required to deposit such funds into an account used exclusively for the development far a court automated warrant system; and WHEREAS, such automation efforts are desirable for the improved efficiency of the Butte County court system; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Butte County Board of Supervisors does authorize the courts of Butte County to impose a $7 assessment on every person convicted of failure to appear or failure to pay a fine per vehicle code violation.
