RESOLUTION AMENDING THE BYLAWS OF THE BUTTE COUNTY WATER COMMISSION
WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors adopted bylaws for the Butte County
Water Commission on -March 27, 1984; and revised these bylaws on April 2, 1985;
and February 3, 1987; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Butte County Water Commission and the
Board of Supervisors to amend these bylaws to change the term of appointment for
commissioners appointed. by the Water Commission.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Butte County Water Commission
bylaws are amended to read as follows:
II, Section 2. The five commissioners appointed by the Board of
Supervisors shall serve a term which coincides with the elected -term
of the county supervisor nominating that commissioner for appointment.
The term of appointment for at-large members appointed by the commission,
shall expire March 1, 1988 and March 1, 1990 and thereafter terms shall
be for four years expiring on March 1 of the fourth year. The commission
shall determine terms of appointment for the at-large members serving
at the time this resolution is adopted.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 3rd day of March 1987 by the foi1owing
vote:
AYES: Supervisors Fulton,. Mclnturf, McLaughlin, Vercruse and Chair Dolan
