RBSOLUTIOII DECLARING MARCH 18, 1987

i1HER£AS, agriculture is the backbone of this country's economy; and
NHTsRSAS, California is the Number One agriculture producing state in
the United States, producing 45~ of the nation's fruit and vegetables; and
{(HEREAS, agriculture is the essential industry in the State of
California; and
iTHEREAS, a substantial portion of the economy in Butte County is
agricultural productivity.
NO{i, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that is order to shots agriculture's
vital role to the economy of the County of Butte, this Board hereby declares
!larch 18, 198? as "Butte County Agriculture Day."
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors. County of Butte,
State of California, this 2dth day of Narch, 1987, by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Fulton, McInturf, McLaughlin, Vercruse and Chair Dolan
