#+.,,~,,ys' RESOLUTION IN SUPPORT OF 3B 1528 MADDY
WHEREAS, Butte County is desirous of providing alcohol and drug
prevention, treatment and recovery services in a manner that maximizes
services and minimizes administrative costs, and
WREREAS, the current alcohol and abuse planning and funding
process is duplicated and lacks financing flexibility, and
WREREAS.- SB 1528 (Maddy) provides a vehicle that will promote
greater local control and administrative flexibility.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Butte County Board of
Supervisors supports SB 1528 (Maddy) and encourages the Legislature and the
Governor to implement this legislation.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors, County of Butte,
this 7th day of April 1987 by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Fulton, Vercruse and Chair Dolaa
NOES: None
ABSENT: Supervisors Mclnturf and McLaughlin
NOT VOTING: None
