RESOLUTION ACRNOWLEDGING AND ENSURING IN-KIND SERVICES
PROVIDED BY THE COUNTY OF BUTTE IN SUPPORT OF THE
1987-1988 COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the County of Butte is dedicated to ensuring the safety and
health of the citizens of the county, and;
WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works, Building Inspection Division,
and the Bepartment of Public Health, Division of Environmental Health, for the
County of Butte act to protect the life, health and safety of the citizens of
Butte County.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors of the County
of Butte that the county will provide, without cost, preliminary inspections
of houses proposed for rehabilitation under the County's Housing
Rehabilitation Program, if awarded 1987-1988 Community Development Block Grant
funds.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors shall authorize the
following additional in-kind services, without cost, in support of the
County's Community Development Block Grant Program:
Local office space
CDBG Program receptionist
BE TT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors estimates to the
best of its knowledge that in-kind services will amount to a contribution of
$5,300 to support the County's Housing Rehabilitation Program.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that these services provided in support of the
1987-1988 Community Development Block Grant Program will comply with all
regulations pertaining to the State Community Development Block Grant Program
and all assurances in connection with the application submitted by the County
of Butte.

this 28th day of April, 1987, by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Fulton, McTnturf, McLaughlin, Vercruse and Chair Dolan
