RESOLUTION EXCi~ANGING RTaT Px40PER1X AND ACCEPTING
GP.Arti7T D1;ED AND AUTHORIZING CHAIR TO SIGN
WI-IIERtEAS, the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of Califo:~-nia
heretofore declared its intention to exchange that real property described in Exhibit "A",
attached hereto, for that certain real property described in l~hibit "B", attached hereto;
and
CaT-~15, that said real property described in E~d~ihit "A", attached hereto, is not
necessary for the public o-r county use; and
WFTEItEAS, that said -real property described in hxhibit "B", attached hereto, is
necessa~~y for the public and county use as highway right of caay; and
Fli;CP.1;A5, the property to be exchanged is of equal value; anti
GII a tine Board desires to exchange said p-roperty pursuant to Section 960.4
of the Streets and i-iighways Code and Section 25365 of the Government Code of the State of
California,

as follows:
1. That the Board hereby exchanges the real property described in ~I~ibit "A",
attached hereto, and incorporated herein as if set forth in full, for that certain real
property shown in Exhibit "B", which is attached hereto and incorporated herein as if set
forth in full.
The Chair is authorized to sign a Quit Claim Deed in favor of Richard Ta. Porter
and Norma A. Porter, husband and wife covering the real property described in I~:l~ibit "A" and
the Chair is further authorized to accept a Grant Deed from Richard la. Porter and Norma A.
Porter, husband and wife in favor of the County of Butte covering that certain real property
de~cri~ed ire E~.;hibit 'B" .

All that r2al property described as a portion of Block 112, of
the "P.ddition to Subdivision No. 1 of the Palermo Citrus Tract"
as filed for record in the County Recorders Office on Suly 23,
1888, lying in Section 33, T19N, R4E, M.D.M., Butte County,
California, said property being more particularly described as
follows:
All that real property described as a portion of the south half
cf Lot 5 and a portion of Lot 6, according to said map, lying
westerly of the following described parcel of land:
Commencing at the southeast corner of Lot 6, according to said
r^ap, said point being marked upon the ground by a three-quarter
inch iron pipe tagged L.S. 2513; thence S 89°52'18" E, along the
easterly projection of the south line of said lot, 25.36 feet,
to a point on the centerline of Upper Palermo Road {formerly Citrus
Avenue), said point being a point on a non-tangent curve, concave
