AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 854 OF THE
COUNTY OF BUTTE, KNOWN AS THE "SALARY ORDINANCE"
The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of
California, do ordain as follows:
1. That Ordinance No. 854 of the County of Butte is hereby
amended as follows:
(a) That Section No. 4, entitled "SALARIES OF ELECTIVE
OFFICERS", is amended by deleting therefrom
Sheriff and Coroner $10,800
Clerk 9,000
Treasurer and Tax Collector 9,000
Recorder 8,100
Assessor .9,000
and adding thereto
Sheriff and Coroner 15,000
Clerk 12,500
Treasurer and Tax Collector 12,500
Recorder 9,500.
Assessor 15,000
(b) That this amenchnent shall be effective January 1, 1967,
2. This ordinance shall take effect thirty (30) days
after the date of its adoption, and before the expiration of fif-
teen (15) days after its passage, it shall.be published with the
names of the members voting for and against the same, once, in
a newspaper published in the County of Butte, State of California.
PA5SED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte, State of California, this 8th day of February,
1966, by the following vote:
