RESOLUTION GIVING NOTICE OF HEARING ON
PETITION TO ABANDON A RIGHT-OF-WAX
WHEREAS, this Board has received a petition from Wiggo
Wake, requesting the abandonment of a right--of--way, as described
below; and,
WHEREAS, pursuant to Chapter 3, Part 3 of Division 9 of
California Streets and Highways Code, this Board shall set a date
for a hearing on the petition for abandonment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of
Supervisors: ~
1. That this Board hereby gives notice that at its
regular meeting on ~1~gUst 4 1987, at 9'15 a.m., in the
Board Chambers, Butte County Administration Building, Oroville,
California, a hearing shall be held on the abandonment of the
following described right-of-way:
SILVERA COURT RIGHT OF WAY ABANDONMENT
A.P. 41-47-66 & 94
Being a portion of that certain 60-foot right
of way known as Silvera Court lying within
the south half of Section 7 and the north
half of Section 18, T21N, R4E, M.D.B. & M.,
County of Butte, State of California, more
particulary described as follows:
COMMENCING at the existing intersection
of the centerline of Silvera Court with the
centerline of Pentz Road, thence southerly
along the centerline of said Silvera Court,
2,120 feet more or less to the southwesterly
projection of the most southerly property
line of that certain parcel of land described
and recorded in the Office of the Recorder,
County of Butte, State of California, in Book
2995 of Official Records at Pages 443 and 444
on October 8, 1984; thence continuing
southerly along said centerline for 70 feet
more or less to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING;
thence continuing southerly along said
centerline for 2,640 feet more or less to its
intersection with the easterly right of way
line of Pentz Road as it exists today, and
end of the described line.
RESERVING, however, to Facific Gas and
Electric Company the right from time to time
to install, maintain, repair, operate,
replace, remove and renew lines of pipes,
wires, poles, and other structures, equipment
and fixtures, both aboveground and
underground, for the operation of said
facilities in said road, together with the
right of ingress thereto and egress
therefrom.
2. That a map showing said portion of said right of
way to be abandoned is on file at the Butte County Public Works
Department, 7 County Center Drive, Oroville, California.
3, That this Resolution be posted and published
pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 3, Fart 3 of Division 9 of
California Streets and Highways Code.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of
Supervisors this 7th day of July 1987, by
the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Fulton, McInturf, McLaughlin, Vercruse and Chair Dolan
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
NOT VOTING: None
