HomeMy WebLinkAbout87-230.a ._ - - ---- :' _ BOARD OF_ SUPERV SOBS COUNTY OF' ~3UTTE, STATE Off' CALIFORNIA Resolufion No. 87-230 RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO ESTABLISH COUNTY SERVICE AREA N0. 102 - MEADOWLARK ACRES WHEREAS, pursuant to Title III, Division II, Part 2, Chapter 2.2 of the Government Code of the State of California, Preston Keith Minto has petitioned the Local Agency Formation Commission for the formation of County Service Area No. 102; and WHEREAS, the Local Agency Formation Commission of the County of Butte has approved the formation of County Service Area No. 102. NOW, THEREFORE, TT IS HEREBX RESOLVED that County Service Area No. 102 is proposed to be established under the terms of the aforesaid chapter in the unincorporated area of Butte County. 1. The boundary lines of the territories proposed for inclusion in the county service area are described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof by this reference. 2. The county service area shall be called County Service Area No. 102 (Meadowlark Acres). The types of extended services to be provided are street lighting and storm drainage maintenance. 3. The Board intends to levy a service charge to pay for the above- mentioned services in County Service Area No. 102. The service charge will be assessed in accordance with Government Code Section 25210.77(a) and the Butte County Code, Sections 21-85 through 21-90. Said service charge will not be assessed until review and adoption of a report to be considered at a public hearing scheduled for the 87/88 fiscal year. On O~t6ber 20 1987, at 11:15 a. m. , a public hearing will be held on the establishment of said area.
