HomeMy WebLinkAbout87-246.;<~ ~.; BOARD ~F SUPERVISORS COUNTY OF Bl1TTE, STATE_QF GAL.IFQRf~lIA Kesolufion No. 87-246 RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO ESTABLISH COUNTY SERVICE AREA N0. 103 - MORRIS SUBDIVISION WHEREAS, pursuant to Title III, Division II, Part 2, Chapter 3 of the Government Code of the State of California, William Morris has petitioned the Local Agency Formation Commission for the formation of County Service Area No. 103; and WHEREAS, the Local Agency Formation Commission of the County of Butte has approved the formation of County Service Area No. 103. NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED that County Service Area No. 103 is proposed to be established under the terms of the aforesaid chapter in the unincorporated area of Butte County. 1. The boundary lines of the territories proposed for inclusion in the county service area are described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof by this reference. 2. The county service area shall be called County Service Area No. 103 (Morris Subdivision). The type of extended service to be provided is street lighting. 3. The Board intends to levy a service charge to pay for the above- mentioned service in County Service Area No. 103. The service charge will be assessed in accordance with Government Code Section 25210.77(1) and the Butte County Code, Sections 21-85 through 21-90. Said service charge will not be assessed until review and adoption of a report to be considered at a public hearing scheduled for the 87/88 fiscal year. On October 27 1987, at 9:15 d. m., a public hearing will be held on the establishment of said area.
