HomeMy WebLinkAbout87-252WHEREAS, pursuant to Title III, Division II, Part 2, Chapter 2 of
the Government Code of the State of California, Frances M. ..Shelton has
petitioned the Local Agency Formation Commission for the formation of County
Service Area No. 101; and
WHEREAS, the Local Agency Formation Commission of the County of
Butte has approved the formation of County Service Area No. 101.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVER that County Service Area No. 101 is
proposed to be established under the terms of the aforesaid chapter in the
unincorporated area of Butte County.
1. The boundary lines of the territories proposed for inclusion in
the county service area are described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made
a part hereof by this reference.
2. The county service area shall be called County Service Area
No. 101 (Fran Shelton Subdivision). the types of extended services to be
provided are street lighting and storm drainage maintenance.
3. The Board intends to levy a service charge to pay for the above-
mentioned services in County Service Area No. 101. The service charge will be
assessed in accordance with Government Code Section 25210.77(a) and the Butte
County Code, Sections 21-85 through 21-90. Said service charge will not be
assessed until review and adoption of a report to be considered at a public
hearing scheduled for the 1987-88 fiscal year.
On November 24, 1987 at 9:00 a.m., a public hearing will be held in
the Board of Supervisors Room, County Administration Center, 25 County Center
Drive, Oroville, California on the establishment of said area.
