RESOLUTION GIVING NOTICE OF HEARING ON
PETITION TO ABANDON A PUBLIC ROADWAY
WHEREAS, this Board has received a petition from Baran
Eggleston, requesting the abandonment of a public road right-of-way,
as described below; and,
WHEREAS, pursuant to Chapter 3, Part 3 of Division 9 of
California Streets and Highways Code, this Board shall set a
date for a hearing on the petition for abandonment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors:
1. That this Board hereby gives notice that at its regular
meeting on
November 24
1987, at 9:00 a.m., in the
Board Chambers, Butte County Administration Building, Oroville,
California, a hearing shall be held on the abandonment of the
roadway (also known as AP 47-16-65, 66, 67.) described on the
attached EXHIBIT A.
2. That a map showing said portion of said public roadway
to be abandoned is on file at the Butte County Public Works
Department, 7 County Center Drive, Oroville, California.
3. That this Resolution be posted and published pursuant to
the provisions of Chapter 3, Part 3 of Division 9 of California
Streets and Highways Code.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors
this 27th- day of October 1987, by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Fulton, McInturf, McLaughlin and Chair Dolan
NOES: None
ABSENT: Supervisor Vercruse
NOT VOTING: None

ROAD ABANDONMF~VT -'DOWN OF NORD

All that certain real property situate in the County of $utte, State of
California, described as follows:
Portions of existing County road rights of way as shown on that certain map
entitled "Town of Nord " recorded in the office of the County Recorder of
the County of Butte, State of California, in Book l of Maps at Page 8, more
particularly described as follows:
Parcel 1 - The full width of Shasta Street, being 40 feet in width, as shown
on the aforementioned map of the "Town of Nord" between the centerline of
Washington Street and the northeast projection of the southeast right of way
line of Folsom Street.
Parcel 2 -- The fu11 width of Folsom street, being 4d feet in width, as shown
on the aforementioned map of the "Town of Nord" between the northeast right
of way line of Shasta Street and the northwest projection of the northeast
right of way line of California Street.
Parcel 3 -The northeasterly 1D feet of California Street lying contiguous
to and parallel with the northeast right of way line of California Street
as shown on the aforementioned map of the "Town of Nord" between the center-
line of Washington street and the northwest right of way line of Folsom
Street.
EXCEPTING AND RESERVING on California Street any existing easements and/or
rights at any time, or from tame to time, to maintain, operate, replace,
remove, renew and enlarge the existing public utility facilities and facili-
ties incidental thereto, including access to protect the property from all
hazards in, upon, and over the highway herewith abandoned.
