Resolution No. 87-265
WHEREAS, the Butte County Baord of Supervisors recognizes the
importance of the agricultural community in that rice, almonds, prunes,
walnuts and cattle are the top five crops produced in Butte County; and
WHEREAS, Butte County is one of the most important counties in the
state for agricultural exports; and
WHEREAS, the autumn of each year is traditionally celebrated in
recognition of the agricultural product.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE TT RESOLVED, that the Butte County Board of
Supervisors, along with others, takes pride in declaring the week of Noember 9
through 15, 1987 as Farm-City Week.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors this 3rd
day of November, 1987, by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Fulton, McInturf, McLaughlin, Vercruse and Chair Dolan
NOES: NONE
ABSENT: NONE
NOT VOTING: NONE
