APPROVAL FOR APPLICATION FOR TENTATIVE PARCEL MAP
The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California,
hereby resolves as follows:
WHEREAS, finding that this project conforms to the Butte County General
Plan and Zoning, and
WHEREAS, finding that although this project could have had a significant
impact on the environment, it will not in this case, provided the mitigation
measures proposed by the applicant are complied with, and
WHERFAR, those mitigation measures are numbers 1 and 2 as noted on the
Planning Department Memo (copy attached hereto).
NOW BE IT RESOLVED that:
The applicant's appeal of the Advisory Agency's denial of his project
is upheld and the tentative parcel map for Gunter Ranft, AP 72-29-27 and 72-30-23
is approved. Approval o£ the tentative map is subject to Public Works conditions
1 through 13 and Environmental Health conditions 1 and 2 and mitigation measures
1 and 2 as noted on attached sheets.
PASSID AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors this :.3rd

parcels an the north side of Forbestown road, approx. 1.3 miles south
of its intersection with bumpkin road. Black Bart area. Engineer:

Public Works conditions:
I Verify legal access.
2 Provide two-way traversable access RS-8~LD-I to each parcel from
a county maintained road or state highway.
3 Access to be reserved in deeds as per county ordinance and offered
for dedication on the final map.
4 Show 50 ft. building setback line measured from centerline of access
easement.
5 Provide road maintenance agreement.
b Indicate a 55 ft. building setback from the centerline of Forbestown
Road.
7 Show all easements of record on the final map.
$ Provide street name signs per requirements of the Department of
Public Works prior to recordation of the final map.
9 Provide cul-de-sac at the end of the street.
IC Obtain encroachment permit and construct standard road approach
providing adequate sight distance at the intersection of access road
and Forbestown Raad
I1 Fay any delinquent taxes or current taxes as required.
I2 Intersection of access road and Forbestown Road must be a safe
location and right angles.
13 Place note on final map that development applications on remaining
lands will require obtaining a Certificate of Compliance.

RECOMMENDED CONDTTTONS FOR APPROVAL
a.. Prove with two or more percolation tests on each parcel that the
required usable sewage disAOSaI area exists on parcels 1, 2, 3, &
4 co~nb~.ne with an adjacent parce3, any parcel not proven to contain
the usable sewage disposal area required by the Subd~.vision
Ordinance.
2. Prove that the required quantities of domestic water are available
to parcels 3., 2, 3, & ~.

Recommend approval. subject to the following mitigation
measures:
1. -Nate on Map: Owner agrees to pay the deer mitigation
fees required by County ordinance for issuance of
building permit (s) at the time such permit (s) are
issued. Owner acknowledges that no such ordinance is
in effect as of the date of tentative subdivision map
approval.
2. Designate 100 foot and 50 foot building setbacks along
each side of permanent .and intermittent streams.
