RESOLUTION ABANDONING A PUBLIC ROADWAY
This matter came on regularly for hearing before the Board
of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California, on
November 24 1987, in the Board Chambers, Butte County
Administration Building, Oroville, California, and it appearing
to said Board that a Notice of Time and Place of Hearing of said
Abandonment was duly and regularly given as required by law, and
testimony and evidence, both oral and documentary, having been
produced at said hearing, from which said Board now finds that
the hereinafter described public roadway is unnecessary for
present or prospective public use.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBX ORDERED as follows:

1. That the public roadway right-of--way situated in the County
of Butte, State of California, as hereinafter more particularly
described is hereby abandoned.
2. That the description of said public roadway right-of-way
(also known as AP 47--16-65, 66, 67) so abandoned is situated in the
County of Butte, State of California, more particularly described in
the attached EXHIBIT A.
3. That the Clerk of this Board shall cause a certified copy
of this Resolution, with the seal of the Board of Supervisors of
the County of Butte, State of California, to be recorded in the
office of the Recorder of the County of Butte, State of California.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors
this 24th day of November 1987, by the following

EXHIBIT "A"
ROAD ABANDQNMLi+}T - TQWN OF NORD
A.P. 47-1b--02
All that certain real property situate in the County of Butte, State of
California, described as follows:
Portions of existing County road rights of way as shown on that certain map
entitled "Yawn of Nord" recorded in the office of the County Recorder of
the County of Butte, State of California, in Book 1 of Maps at Page 8, more
particularly described as follows:
Parcel 1 - The full width of Shasta Street, being 40 feet in width, as shown
on the aforementioned map of the "Town of Nvrd" between the centerline of
Washington Street and the northeast projection of the southeast right of way
sine of Folsom Street.
Parcel 2 - The full width of Folsom street, being 40 feet in width, as shown
on the aforementioned map of the "Town of Nord" between the northeast right
of way line of Shasta Street and the northwest projection of the northeast
right of way line of California Street.
Parcel 3 -- The northeasterly 10 feet of California Street lying contiguous
to and parallel with the northeast right of way line of California Street
as shown on the aforementioned map of the "Town of Nord" between the center-
line of Washington street and the northwest right of way line of Folsom
Street.
EXCEPTING AND RESERVING on California Street any existing easements and/or
rights at any time, or from time to time, to maintain, operate, replace,
remove, renew and enlarge the existing public utility facilities and facili-
ties incidental thereto, including access to protect the property from all
hazards in, upon, and over the highway herewith abandoned.
Said Map showing the road rights of way to be abandoned is on file in the
office of Butte County Department of Public Works, 7 County Center Drive,
Oroville, CA 95965.
