WHEREAS, the Pine Creek Cemetery District was formed by the Board of
Supervisors on February 1, 1937 in accordance with Health and Safety Code
Section 8950 et. seq. in response to a petition for formation being filed with
the Board of Supervisors; and
WHEREAS, the petition for formation specified that the district
shall be governed and managed by three trustees; and
WHEREAS, the current trustees of the Pine Creek Cemetery District
have requested the Board of Supervisors to expand the number of trustees from
three to five; and
WHEREAS, Health and Safety Code Section 8950 specifies that the
number of trustees of a cemetery district may be increased from three to five
by the Board of Supervisors upon a request by a majority of the trustees of
the district,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors
approves increasing the number of trustees of the Pine Creek Cemetery District
to five trustees.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors this
24th day of November, 1987, by the following vote:
AYES: Superyi:sors Fulton, McInturf, McLaugh.l~n, Vercruse and Chair Dolan
