'~. o s*~ -~~ BEARD OF SUPERVISORS :~ ~~ :~: ~*' = ~~ COI_INTY QF BEITTE, STATE-0F CAI~IFORf~IA i~~A° '~~ • ,. ~'~ '' ~~iyi3,* ©~ES" ~~++~~~ Kesolufion No. 87-291 RESOLUTION FOR SUMMARY ABANDONMENT FOR A PORTION OF OR4VILLE-BANGOR HIGHWAY RIGHT OF WAY ''~~~ WHEREAS, a portion of Oroville-Bangor Highway right of way is no p longer necessary or required for road purposes; and WHEREAS. pursuant to the Streets and Highways Code Division 9, Part 3, Chapter 4, commencing with Section No. 8330, the Board finds that a portion of Oroviile-Bangor Highway right of way should be summarily vacated; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RE50LVED by the Board of Sugervisnrs of the County of Butte, State of California, as follows: The following-described portion of Oroville-Bangor Highway right of way is hereby summarily vacated and abandoned pursuant to Streets and Highways Code Division 9, Part 3, Chapter 4, commencing with Section No. 8330; And from and after the date the Resolution is recorded, the street, highway, or public service easement vacated no longer constitutes a street, highway, or gublic service easement. Parcel Nv. 2 Being a gortian of Lat 8 in Block 29 of Villa Verona, according to the Official Map thereof, filed in the office of the Revarder of the County of Hutte, State of California, January 17, 1889, described as follows: Being a portion of the Old Oroville-Bangor Highway 460 feet wide) as described in that certain deed to the County of Butte recorded in the office of the Recorder of the County of Butte, on August 5, 1921, in Book 195 of Deeds, at Page 35 more particularly described as follows; Commencing at the intersection of the centerline of Lower Wyandotte Rvad with the centerline of said Old Oroville-Bangor Highway; thence along said centerline of said Old Oroville-Bangor Highway southeasterly on the arc of a non-tangent 704.00 toot radius curve, concave to the northeast (radial line to said curve at this point bears 5 29°0$'44" W> through a central angle of 4°37' 06", for 56.42 feet to a point distant easterly 50.00 feet measured perpendicular from the centerline of Lower Wyandotte Road and the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING; thence N 0°49'19" W, parallel with the venterline of Lower Wyandotte Road. 33.34 feet to the northerly right of way line of said Old Oroville-Bangor Highway; thence along said northerly right of way line southeasterly on the arc of a nun-tangent 670.00 foot radius curve concave to the northeast (radial line to said curve at this point bears S 25° 49'39" W) through a central angle of 16°44'06", £or 195.69 feat; thence leaving said old northerly right of way line, S 76°21'54" W, 70.13 feet to the center line of said OId Oroville-Bangor Highway; thence along said centerline, northwesterly on the arc of a non- tangent 700.00 foot radius curve concave to the northeast (radial line to said vurve at this point bears S 14°18'53" W), through a central angle of 10°12'45", for 124.77 feet to a goint distant easterly, 50.00 feet from the said centerline of Lvwsr Wyandotte Road and the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING. Containing an area of 0.1096 acre more or less. Containing an area of .0850 acre more or less. EXCEPTING AND RESERVING any existing easements and/or rights at any time, or from time to time, to maintain, operate, replace, remove, renew and enlarge the existing public utility facilities and facilities incidental thereto, including access to protect the property from all hazards in, upon, and over the highway herewith to be abandoned.
