Resolufion No. 88-o~T RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING $2,500 REVOLVING FUND FOR FOOD STAMP EMPLOYMENT AND TRAINING PROGRAM WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte has determined that for the efficient operation of the Bepartment of Social Welfare, Food Stamp Employment and Training Program as required under FSE&T Regulation 63.407.83, the necessity has arisen for the establishment of a Revolving Fund. WHEREAS, the Government Code of the State of California, Sections 29320 et seq provide for the establishment of such funds. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California, as follows: 1. That there is determined to be a necessity for the establishment of a revolving fund in the Department of Social Welfare, Food Stamp Employment and Training Program for the purpose of complying with FSE&T Regulation 63.407.83. 2. That the amount of the revolving fund shall 'be the sum of Two Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($2,500.00). 3. That this fund is established in accordance with Sections 29320 et seq of the Government Code of the State of California, and that certified copies of the resolution shall be transmitted to the County Auditor and the County Treasurer. 4. That the County Administrator is instructed pursuant to Section 29323 of the Government Code of the State of California, to amend by endorsement the blanket fidelity bond of the county to be conditioned, in addition to its other provisions, upon the faithful administration o€ the revolving fund and upon the willingness and ability of the principal for whom such a fund has been established to account for and pay over the fund upon demand of the Board of Supervisors at any time. 5. The Auditor of the County of Butte is hereby authorized and directed to draw a warrant in the sum of Two Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($2,500.00) in favor of the Department of Social Welfare, Food Stamp -2- Employment and Training Program of the County of Butte from the County General Fund. 6. The County welfare Director shall from time to time request the Board of Supervisors to replenish the fund, for authorized expenditures, from the then current budget of the Department of Social Welfare, Food Stamp Employment and Training Program, in which such expenditures have been budgeted.
