RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY OF BUTTE
APPROVING THE APPLICATION AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF A
GRANT CONTRACT WITH THE CALIFORNIA ARTS COUNCIL
WHEREASLthe California Arts Council and the California
State Legislature have established a State-Local Partnership
Program designed to encourage local cultural planning and
decision-making and to reach previously underserved constituents:
and
WHEREAS, an application for the arts in the County of
Butte has now been submitted to the Board of Supervisors.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of
Supervisors of the County of Butte does hereby approve of the
grant application as submitted to the California Arts Council by
the Butte County Arts Commission and designates the Chief
Administrative Officer to execute the 1988-89 State-Local
Partnership Program grant contract with the California Arts
Council, contingent upon approval of the application by the
California Arts Council.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 23rd day of February, 1988 by
the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors McInturf, Dolan, McLaughlin, Fulton
NOES: Supervisor Vercruse
ABSENT: None
