RESOLUTION IN APPRECIATION
OF KEITH W. MCMORROW
WHEREAS, Keith W. McMorrow joined the California
Highway Patrol on September 11, 1961 and graduated from the CHP
Academy on December 7, 1961; and
WHEREAS, from December 7, 1961 through August 19, 1966
Officer McMorrow was assigned to the Indio enforcement area; and
WHEREAS, from August 19, 1966 through March 31, 1988
Officer McMorrow was assigned to the Chico patrol district; and
WHEREAS, in February 1982 the Exchange Club of Chico
recognized Officer McMnrrow as Peace Officer of the Year.
WHEREAS, during Officer McMorrow's more than 27 years
of devoted service to the people of the State of California, he
has gained the respect and admiration of many, including his
peers, judges, attorneys, and motorists needing assistance; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that this Board, on its
own behalf, and on behalf of the residents of the County of
Butte, would like to express deep appreciation for the unselfish
dedication and devotion given by Keith W. McMorrow during the 27
years he has worked for California Highway Patrol.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of
Supervisors this 17th day of May, 1988, by the following vote;
AYES: Supervisors Fulton, McLaughlin, Vercruse and
Chairman Mc2nturf
NOES: None
ABSENT: Supervisor Dolan
NOT VOTING: None
