RESOLUTION EXCHANGING REAL PROPERTY AND ACCEPTING
GRANT DEED AND AUTHORIZING CHAIRMAN TO SIGN
WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California,
heretofore declared its intention to exchange that real property described in Exhibit "A",
attached hereto, for that certain real property described in Exhibit "B", attached hereto;
and
WHEREAS, that said real property described in Exhibit "A", attached hereto, is not
necessary for the public or county use; and
WHEREAS, that said real property described in Exhibit "B", attached hereto, is
necessary for the public and county use as highway right of way; and
WHEREAS, the property to be exchanged is of equal value, and
WHEREAS, the Board desires to exchange said property pursuant to Section 960.4
of the Streets and Highways Code and Section 25365 of the Government Code of the State of
California;
NOW, THEREFORE, $E IT RESOLVED by the Board o£ Supervisors of the County of Butte
as follows:
1. That the Board hereby exchanges the real property de~sc~rib~d~z~ ~~ibit "A",
attached hereto, and incorporated herein as if set forth in full, for that certain real
property shown in Exhibit "B", which is attached hereto and incorporated herein as if set
forth in full.
The Chairman is authorized to sign a Quit claim Deed in favor of American Dream
Homes, a Partnership, tovering the real property described in Exhibit "A" and the Chairman
is further authorized to accept a Grant Deed from American Dream Homes, a Partnership,
in favor of the County of $utte covering that certain real property described in Exhibit "B",
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of
California, this 7th day of June 1988

Map was filed in the Office of the Recorder of the County of
Butte, State of California, December 24, 1985, in Book 102 of
Maps at Pages 52 & 53, more particularly described as follows:
That portion of said Lot 37 lying southerly of the following
described line:
COMMENCING at the Southeast corner of said Lot 37;
THENCE along the south line of said Lot 37, South 61°02'00"
West, a distance of 348.21 feet to the Southwest corner of said
Lot 37 on the northerly right-of-way line of the Southern Pacific
Railroad;
THENCE along said northerly right-of-way line of the Southern

Avenue, said point being the True Point of Beginning;
