COUNTY' OF BUTTE, S~f"A7"E OF CALIFORNIA
WHEREAS, pursuant to Title III, Division II, Part 2, Chapter 3 of the
Government Code of the State of California, Lowell W. Pierce has petitioned the
Local Agency Formation Commission for formation of County Service Area No. 109; and
WHEREAS, the Local Agency Formation Commission of the County of Butte
has approved the formation of County Service Area No. 109.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED that County Service Area No. 109
is proposed to be established under the terms of the aforesaid chapter in the
unincorporated area of Butte County.
1. The boundary lines of the territories proposed for inclusion in the
county service area are described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part
hereof by this reference.
2. The county service area shall be called County Service Area No. 109
(Walnut Grove Subdivision). The types of extended services to be provided are
storm drainage maintenance and street lighting.
3. The Board intends to levy a service charge to pay for the above-
mentioned ,services in County Service Area No. 109. The service charge will be
assessed in accordance with Government Code Section 25210.77(1) and the Butte
County Code, Sections 21-85 through 21-90. Said service charge will not be
assessed until review and adoption of a report to be considered at a public
hearing scheduled for the 88/89 fiscal year.
On July 26, 1988, at 11:15 a. m., in the Board of Supervisors' Room,
County Administration Center, 25 County Center Drive, Oroville, California, a
public hearing will be held on the establishment of said area.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors on this
21st day of June 1988, by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Dolan, Fulton, McLau hlin and Vercruse
NOES: None
ABSENT: Chairman McInturf
NOT VOTING: None

All that certain real property situate in the County of Butte,
state of California, described as follows:
COI~IENCING at the intersection of Fern Avenue and West 12th
Avenue;
THENCE along the centerline of West 12th Avenue, South 61°02'00"
West, a distance of 495.00 feet the the True Point of Beginning;
THENCE continuing along the centerline of West 12th Avenue, South
61°02'00" West, a distance of 348.21 feet to a point on the
northerly line of the Southern Pacific Railroad;
THENCE along said northerly line of the Southern Pacific
Railroad, North 60°48'00" West, a distance of 834.09 feet to a
point on the south line of West Lindo Avenue;
THENCE leaving said northerly line of the Southern Pacific
Railroad and along said south line of West Linda Avenue, North
29°12'00" East, a distance of 88.09 feet;
THENCE continuing along said south line of West Lindo Avenue,
along the arc of a tangent curve to the right having a radius of
350.00 feet, through a central angle of 54°18'40", an arc length
of 331.77 feet;
THENCE continuing along said south line of West Lindo Avenue,
North 83°30'40" East, a distance of 171.95 feet;
THENCE continuing along said south line of West Lindo Avenue,
along the arc of a tangent curve to the left having a radius of
