RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO ESTABLISH COUNTY SERVICE AREA
N0. 111 - HAIKU ESTATES SUBDIVISION
WHEREAS, pursuant to Title III, Division II, Part 2, Chapter 3 of the
Government Code of the State of California, Robert T. Kostello has petitioned the
Local Agency Formation Commission for formation of County Service Area No. 111; and
WHEREAS, the Local Agency Formation Commission of the County of Butte has
approved the formation of County Service Area No. 111.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED that County Service Area No. 111 is
proposed to be established under the terms of the aforesaid chapter in the unincor-
porated area of Butte County.
1. The boundary lines of the territories proposed for inclusion in the
county service area are described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part
hereof by this reference.
2. The county service area shall be called County Service Area No. lil
(Haiku Estates Subdivision). The types of extended services to be provided are
street lighting and storm drainage maintenance.
3. The Board intends to levy a service charge to pay for the above-
mentioned services in County Service Area No. 111. The service charge will be
assessed in accordance with Government Code Section 25210.77(1) and the Butte
County Code, Sections 21-85 through 21-90. Said service charge will not be
assessed until review and 2doption of a report to be considered at a public
hearing scheduled for the 88/89 fiscal year.
On $ept. 27, 1988: 1988, at 11:00 a,m,. in the Board of Supervisors'
Room, County Administration Center, 25 County Center Drive, Oroville, California,
a public hearing will be held on the establishment of said area.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors on this
16th day of August 1958, by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Dotan, Vercrase and Chairman McInturf
NOES: None
ABSENT: Supervisors Fulton and McLaughlin /
NOT VOTING: None

All that certain real property situate in, the County
of Butte, State of California, more particularly described
as follows:
Commencing at the centerline intersection of Surrey Lane
and Shasta Avenue;
Thence North 52°14'46" East along the centerline of
Shasta Avenue, a distance of 390.81 feet;
Thence South 37°45'24" East, a distance of 30.00 feet to
the true point of beginning on the southeasterly Line of
Shasta Avenue;
Thence South 37°45'24" East, a distance of 630.36 feet;
Thence South 52°14'07" West, a distance of 660.73 feet;
Thence North 37°45'56" T•~est, a distance of 630.49 feet;
Thence North 52°14'46" East, a distance of 560.83 feet to
the True Paint of Beginning and containing 9.57 acres, more
or less.
