FINAL BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR 1988-1989 WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California has heretofore set the time and place for hearing and fixing the final budget as on the 1st day of August, 1988, in the Board of Supervisors Room in the Butte County Administration Building, Oroville, California; and WHEREAS, said hearing was concluded on August 8, 1988; and WHEREAS, such increases or additions that were proposed in writing and filed with said Board before the close of said budget hearings were considered by said Board; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS of the County of Butte, State of California, that the appropriations now contained in the proposed budget as revised by the Board at and after the public hearings and recorded in the minutes thereof are hereby declared adopted and the various abject appropriations therein specified are as follows: A. Appropriations for Expenditures: 1. Salaries and Employee Benefits $33,290,447 2. Services and Supplies 38,843,417 3. Other Charges 48,412,391 4. Fixed Assets: a. Land -0- b. Structures and Improvements are as specifically set forth in the budget as finally determined by the Board of Supervisors which is adopted by reference herein and made a part hereof. 1,000 c. Equipment 604,327 5. Expenditure Transfers (5,517,007) Total Appropriations for Expenditures 115,634,575 B. Appropriation for Contingencies: 1. General Fund 623,722 2. Road Operations 432,834 3. Revenue Sharing -0- 4. Road Construction - Unrestricted -0- 5. rtoad Construction - Restricted -0- 6. Fish & Game Fund 2,400 Total Appropriation for contingencies 1,058,956 C. Provisions for Reserves and Designations TOTAL BUDGET REQUIREMENTS D. The Means of Financing the Expenditure Program: i. Fund balances available 2. Revenue other than current property tax 3. To be raised by taxation on local and utility tax roils TOTAL 516,]53 7]7,209,689 2,205,739 103,073,961 11,929,984 $117,209,684 THAT the appropriations ]unit imposed by Rrticle i3b of the California Constitution for Butte County far fiscal year 1988-89 has been calculated to be $33,820,612 and the appropriations subject to the limit is $26,693,984. The limit is subject to adjustment by the State Controller in accordance with Government Code Section 77206 if the county opts into the State Trial Court Funding Act. THRT said aforementioned appropriations hereby are finally determined and adopted and ordered filed in the office of said Board. The foregoing Resolution was introduced by Supervisor Fulton who moved its adoption, seconded by Supervisor McLai~gh.lin and said Resolution was passed this 23rd day of August,i988, by the following vote: AYES: Supervisors Dolan, Fulton, McLaughlin, Vercruse and Chairman McInturf NOES: None ABSENT: None N0T VOTING: None HASK L A.
