APPRECIATION TO (3. ST$V$N JONES
WHEREAS, the Butte County Municipal Court, as a part of
its jurisdiction, acts as a Small Claims Court; and
WHEREAS, duly licensed Attorneys with at least five years
experience may, with the concurrence of the Court and the parties,
sit as Judges Pro Tempore of the Small Claims Court; and
WHEREAS, Judges Pro Tempore volunteer their time to the
Court, and bring their experience and expertise to the Small Claims
Court; and
WHEREAS, Judges Pro Tempore provide a service that is
beneficial to the citizens of Butte County and the Court; and
WHEREAS, G. STBVSN JONES, Attorney at Law, has presided
during 1988 as a Judge Pro Tempore 3n the Sutte County Municipal
Court, South County Judicial District (Oroville).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Butte County Board
of Supervisors that they hereby express their sincere appreciation
to G. STEVEN JORSS, Attorney at Law for his service to the people
of the County of Butte and the efforts which have contributed to a
better way of life for the citizens of the community are
acknowledged and the appreciation of the community is expressed
through this official recognition.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 18th day of October, 1988, by the
Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California, by
the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Dolan, Vercruse, McLaughlin, Fulton and
Chairman McInturf
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
NOT VOTING: None
