Home My WebLink About88-168°~ `~~`~.~ ~~'~ ; BOARD ~ F S U P E F~ V I S`O`R S ~: -~: *`:; ~_ ~ ~ ~~ COUNTY OF .BUTTE, STATE OF CALfFORNIA w C~- ; c ,~ji~ s: :, ~~ ResoTufion No. 88-168 RESOLUTION EXCHANGING REAL PROPIltTY AND ACCEPTING GRANT DEID AND AUTHORIZING CHAIRMAN TO SIGN WHFR'~AS, the Board of Supervisors.: of the County of Butte, State of California, heretofore declared its intention to exchange that real property described in Exhibit "A", attached hereto, for that certain real property described in Exhibit "B", attached hereto; and WHEREAS, that said real property described in Exhibit "A", attached hereto, is not necessary for the public or county use; and WHEREAS, that said real property described in Exhibit "B", attached hereto, is necessary for the public and county use as highway right-of-way; and WHFRRAS, the property to be exchanged is of equal value; and WHEREAS, the Board desires to exchange said property pursuant to Section 960.4 of the Streets and Highways Code and Section 25365 of the Government Code of the State of California; NOW, TI13l;RREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte as follows: 1. That tt~ Board hereby exchanges the real property described in Exhibit "A", attached hereto, and incorporated herein as if set forth in full, for that certain real property shown in Exhibit "B", attached hereto and incorporated herein as if set forth in full. The Chairman is authorized to sign a Quit Claim Deed in favor of William Kauffman, an unmarried man, covering the real property described in Exhibit "A" and the Chairman is further authorized to accept a Grant Deed from William Kauffman, an unmarried man, in favor of the County of Butte covering that certain real property described in Exhibit ~~B~,_ g$"~Q~~~ PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California, this 1st day of November 1988.
