3: The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of Calif
ornia, under and pursuant to Ordinance No, 475 of said County,
4 being the honing Enabling Ordinance as amended by Ordinance Nos.
~ 522 and 676, do ordain as follows:
6 SECTION 1, The hereinafter described area situate in the Count
of Butte, State of California, shall be and it is hereby zoned as
q an "S-2" (Suburban-Residential) District and such area shall be
subject to the restrictions and restricted uses and regulations
8 hereinafter specified and provided. Said area so zoned being
located in the unincorporated area of Butte County, s~>x~~'c of the
9. City of cpxauild;e, California, and particularly described as follows:
10 As shown by map attached and as shown in the Office of
~1 = '~ the Butte County Planning Commission and the Office of
the Butte County Clerk,

Section 2. Regulations for an "S-2" 'District. The ';following
13 regu7rations shall apply in an "S-2" District;
14 2,1 USES PERMITTED:
~, i5 a. Single-family dwellings, not including tents or
16 trailers,
1'7 b, Accessory buildings pertinent to the permitted uses.
18 2.2 Agricultural uses, except livestock, subject to the
following requirements:

a. For each horse or head of cattle over one year of age,
20 eight thousand one hundred twenty-.five (8,125) square feet,
21 b. For each head of swine over ten (10) weeks of age,
22 eight thousand one hundred twenty-five (8,125) square feet.
23 d, For each head of sheep or goats, twa thousand (2,000)
square feet.

2B 2,3 LOT AREA: Minimum required axea of a lot per dwelling
unit shall be not less than one (1) acre,

204 LOT WIDTI-I: Minimum lot width shall be not Less than one
27 hundred thirty (130) feet.
28 2.5 FRONT YARD: Minimum front yard shall be fifty (50) feet
from the centerline of the road, except where the road is
29 classified by the County as a Federal Aid Secondary Road, tkie
30 minimum building setback requirement shall be fifty-five (55)
feet from the centerline of said road,
31 2,6 S3DE YARD: Minimum side yard shall be not less than ten
32 (10) feet.
SECTIODT 3, All uses of land within the district not specific-
. ally authorized and permitted in Section 2 are prohibited.

SEsCTION ~. In compliance with the provisions of said Zoning
Enabling Ordinance, the same is n.ereby amended by adding to Sectior.
5 thereof this Ordinance in full.
SSCTIOI~ 5. The penalties for the violation of the zoning here-
by imposed within the district shall be as provided in the Zoning
;~nabling Ordinance. In compliance with the provisions of the Zon-
ing Enabling Ordinance, this Ordinance shall from and after its
effective date become a supplement to and part of the Zoning
Enabling Ordinance.
SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall be and it is hereby declared t
be in full force and effect from and after thirty (30) days after
the date of its passage; and before the expiration of fifteen (15)
days of ter its passage ti--is Ordinance shall be published once with
the names of the members of the Board voting for and against it in
tine proville Mercury , a newspaper published in the
County of Butte, State of California.

Butte, State of California, this 31st day of May 1966,
by the following vote:
