RESOLUTTON OF THE BUTTE COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
DESIGNATING BUTTE COUNTY ARTS COMMISSION
AS PARTNER TN STATE-LOCAL PARTNERSHIP PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the California Arts Council and the California
State Legislature established a State-Local Partnership Program
designed to encourage local planning and decision making and reach
previously underserved constituents; and
WHEREAS, an application for the arts in Butte County will
be submitted by the Butte County Arts Commission;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of
Supervisors of the County of Butte does hereby designate the Butte
County Arts Commission for 1989-90 as its partner in the State-
Local Partnership Program for purposes of submitting a grant
application to the California Arts Council.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 28th day of February, 1989 by the
following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Dolan, McInturf, McLaughlin, Vercruse and
Chairman Fulton
NOES : None
ABSENT: None
NOT VOTING : None
