RESOLUTION OI' THE BOARD OF` SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY OF BUTTE REVISING
RULES FOR THE ADMINISTRATION OF THE MERIT AND PERSONNEL PROGRAM
WHEREAS, current rules provide for split positions for the classifications
of Physician, Psychologist and Psychiatrist to provide flexibility in recruitment; and
WHEREAS, nursing classifications and other health care professionals are also
difficult to recruit on a full-time basis; and
WHEREAS, addition of nursing and other health care professional classifications
to the split position provisions would enhance recruitment of these personnel.
NOW, THEREFORE BE iT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors that Resolution
No. 7fi-136A be amended as follows:
5.~+ SPLIT POSITIONS
The Personnel Director may authorize Physician, Psychiatrist, Psychologist
and nursing and health care professional positions to be filled by less than
full-time employees in any number so Iong as the total aggregate time in each
class does not exceed the full--time equivalent of the positions authorized
in the Salary Ordinance.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors this 14th

AYES: Supervisors Dolan, Mclnturf, Vercruse and Chairman Fulton
NOES: None
