BUTTE COUNTY RESOLUTION FOR JOINING THE
CALIFORNIA FAIRS INSURANCE AND SERVICES AUTHORITY
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Chairman is authorized
and directed to sign the Second Amended and Restated Joint Exercise
of Powers Agreement in order that the County will become a party to
and a member of California Fairs Insurance and Services Authority on
behalf of the Butte County Fair Association.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that County agrees to be bound by and
adhere to all of the terms, conditions, rules and policies of the
California Fairs Insurance and Services Authority.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the California Fairs Insurance and
Services Authority is authorized to settle and dispose of all claims
or liabilities brought against the County and/or Butte County Fair
Association to the extent California Fairs Insurance and Services
Authority provides insurance coverage to the County and/or Butte
County Fair Association, and to the extent such action is consistent
with the terms and conditions of the policies or coverages offered
by California Fairs Insurance and Services Authority.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors this
14th day of March, 1989, by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Dolan, McInturf, Vercruse and Chairman Fulton
NOES : None
ABSENT: Supervisor McLaughlin
NOT VOTING: None

certified copies of Resolution No. 89-029, which was adopted by our
Board of Supervisors at their meeting of March 14, 1989, and the fully
executed agreement with the four (4} additional signature pages fully
executed. Following approval by the Department of General Services of
the State of California, please forward a fully executed copy to this
office for our records.
