Resolufion No. 89-045
RESOLUTION DECLARING
DWELLING SUBSTANDARD AND A NUISANCE
WHEREAS, the Butte County Board of Supervisors has
conducted a public hearing to determine if the dwelling located at
1310 Davis Street, Chico, California, AP# 005-39-5-012 should be
declared a nuisance; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors has heard the evidence
presented at the hearing regarding the condition of the dwelling
at said location; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors has found that the
dwelling at 1310 Davis Street, Chico, California is in such a state
of disrepair and dilapidation that it constitutes a nuisance under
Section 17980 of the California Health and Safety Code.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of
Supervisors of the County of Butte that the owner of the dwelling
located at 1310 Davis Street, Chaco, California, AP# 005-39-5-012
is hereby directed to abate the nuisance within thirty (30) days
after the date of posting on said premises a.notice of passage of
this resolution.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the owner of the premises
shall have the building properly reconstructed or repaired, or have
the same razed or removed.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that if the nuisance is not
abated, the building will be razed or removed by the Butte County
Health Department and the expense thereof will be made a lien on
the lot or parcel of land on which the building is located.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte, State of California this 4th day of April, 1989
by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Dolan, NlcInturf, McLaughlin, Vercruse and
Chairman Fulton
