HomeMy WebLinkAbout89-047Resolufion No. 89-047 RESOLUTION EXCHANGING REAL PROPERTY AND ACCEPTING GRANT DE® AND AUTHORIZING CHAIRMAN TO SIGN WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California, heretofore declared its intention to exchange that real property described in Exhibit "B", attached hereto, for that certain real property described in Exhibit "A", attached hereto; and Wi-IEREAS, that said real property described in E~chibit "B" attached hereto, is not necessary for the public or county use; and WI~iEREAS, that said real property described in Exhibit "A", attached hereto, is necessary for the public and county use as highway right-of-way; and WHIItEAS, the property to be exchanged is of equal value; and WHEREAS, the Board desires to exchange said property pursuant to Section 960.4 of the Streets and Highways Code and Section 25365 of the Government Code of the State of California, NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte as follows: 1. That the Board hereby exchanges the real property described in Exhibit "B", attached hereto, and incorporated herein as if set forth in full, for that certain real property shown in Exhibit "A", which is attached hereto and incorporated herein as if set forth in full. The Chairman is authorized to sign a Quit Claim Deed in favor of Bradley V. Leen and Dawn D. Leen, husband and wife covering the real property described in Exhibit "B" and the Chairman is further authorized to accept a Grant Deed from Bradley V. Leen and Dawn D. Leen, husband and wife in favor of the County of Butte covering that certain real property described in F~hibit "A".
