RESOLUTION EXCHANGING REAL PROPERTY AND ACCEPTING
GRANT DE® AND AUTHORIZING CHAIRMAN TO SIGN
WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California,
heretofore declared its intention to exchange that real property described in Exhibit "B",
attached hereto, for that certain real property described in Exhibit "A", attached hereto;
and
Wi-IEREAS, that said real property described in E~chibit "B" attached hereto, is
not necessary for the public or county use; and
WI~iEREAS, that said real property described in Exhibit "A", attached hereto, is
necessary for the public and county use as highway right-of-way; and
WHIItEAS, the property to be exchanged is of equal value; and
WHEREAS, the Board desires to exchange said property pursuant to Section 960.4
of the Streets and Highways Code and Section 25365 of the Government Code of the State of
California,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte
as follows:
1. That the Board hereby exchanges the real property described in Exhibit "B",
attached hereto, and incorporated herein as if set forth in full, for that certain real
property shown in Exhibit "A", which is attached hereto and incorporated herein as if set
forth in full.
The Chairman is authorized to sign a Quit Claim Deed in favor of Bradley V. Leen
and Dawn D. Leen, husband and wife covering the real property described in Exhibit "B" and
the Chairman is further authorized to accept a Grant Deed from Bradley V. Leen and Dawn D.
Leen, husband and wife in favor of the County of Butte covering that certain real property
described in F~hibit "A".
PASSID AND ADOPTID by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of
California, this 18th day of Apr11 1989.

Block 30, according to that certain map entitled "Villa Verona
Subdivision" as filed for record in the Office o£ the Recorder
as Wall Map #12; lying in the northeast quarter of the northwest
quarter of Section 27; Township 19 North; Range 4 East; M.D.M.;
Butte County; California and lying southerly of the centerline
of Oro-Bangor Highway as said centerline existed on March 1; 1989
and lying northwesterly of the following described line:
Commencing at the northeast corner of said northwest
quarter of Section 27; as said corner is shown on that
certain Record of Survey as filed for record in Book
101; Maps at Page 38; thence S 00°11'55" E; along the
east line of said quarter; 248.82 feet; to THE TRUE
POINT OF BEGINNING for the herein described line; said
point being marked upon the ground by a one-half inch
rebar tagged L.S. 4208; thence S 39°39'00" W; leaving
said east line; 690.43 feet; to a one=half inch rebar
tagged L.S. 4208 and the beginning of a curve to the
right; having a radius of 330.00 feet and a central
angle of 33°19'06"; thence southwesterly along said
curve; an arc distance of 191.90 feet; to a point on
the west line of that certain parcel of land as described
in deed to Bradley V. Leen; et.ux. as filed for record
in Official Records as Serial Number 85-40719; and the ~.ti,
end of the described line; said west line having a
bearing of N 00°10'18" W.
