Reso7ufiori No. s9-ogz RESOLUTION GIVING NOTICE OF HEARING ON PETITION TO ABANDON A PORTION OF A STREET WHEREAS, the Board has received a petition for ten or more WHEREAS, pursuant to Chapter 3 of Part 3 of Division g of the California Streets and Highways Code, commencing with Section 8320, this Board shall set a date, hour and place for a hearing on the petition for abandonment. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors: 1. That this Board hereby gives notice that at its regular meeting on July 11 ._, 1989, at 10:00 a.m. in the Board Chambers, Butte County Adminstration Building, 25 Geunty Center Drive, Oraville, California, a hearing shall be held to hear all persons interested in the abandonment of that certain 30 foot portion of street known as Elm Avenue, located 630 feet north of Ophir Road on both the east and west sides of Carmel Avenue, identified as AP 36-28-60, 62, as shown on the Map of Palermo Citrus Tract Addition No. 1, recorded on wall map No. 14, Palermo, County of Butte, State of California, more particularly described as follows: Being that certain 3O foot right of way known as Elm Avenue, lying within the Northwest quarter of the Northwest quarter of Section 33, T19N, R4E, M.D.B. Sc M., as shown on the Map of Palermo Citrus Tract Addition No. 1, recorded on wall map No. 14, County of Butte, State of California. Being all of the said Elm Avenue except that portion lying between the Northerly extension of the Easterly and Westerly right of way line of the existing 60 foot wide Carmel Avenue. Said Map showing the portion of street to be abandoned is on file in the Office of the Butte County Department of Public Works, 7 County Center Drive, Oroville, California 95965. 2. That at the conclusion of said hearing the Board intends to abandon said portion of street. 3. That this abandonment proceeding is being conducted pursuant to Chapter 3 of Part 3 of Division 9 of the California Streets and Highways Code (commencing with Section 8320). 4. That this Resolution be posted and published pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 3 of Part 3 of Division 9 of the California Streets and Highways Code.
