TO ABANDON A PUBLIC UTILITY EASEMENT
WHEREAS, the Board has received a petition for five or more
free-holders, requesting the abandonment of a public utility
easement as described below, and at least one of the petitioners
is a resident of the township in which said easement is situated;
and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Chapter 3 of Part 3 of Division 9 of the
California Streets and Highways Code, commencing with Section 8320,
this Board shall set a date, hour and place for a hearing on the
petition for abandonment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors:
1. That this Board hereby gives notice that at its regular
meeting on July 18 1989, at 10:30 a~:~m., in the Board Chambers,
Butte County Adminstratian Building, 25 County Center Drive,
Oroville, California, a hearing shall be held to hear all persons
interested in the abandonment of that certain 10 foot Public
Utility, bight and Air Easement lying withinthe N.E. quarter of
Section 28, T19N, R4E, M.D.B.M., as shown on the map of Carriage
Manor retarded in Book 66 Maps of Record at pages 48 and 49,
County of Butte, State of California, more particularly described
as follows:
Being that certain 10~-foot Public Utility, Light and Air
Easement lying 5 feet on each side of, parallel with and
contiguous to the lot line common to Tots 55 and 56 of
said Carriage Manor, commencing at the northwest lot
corner of said Lot 55; thence south along the said common
lot line 10 feet to the True Point of Beginning; thence
continuing south along said common lot line 63 feet to
a point, said point lies 5 feet north of the southwest
corner of said Lot 55 and the end of the described
easement.

Said Map showing the public utility easement to be abandoned
is on file in the Office of the Butte County Department of Public
Works, 7 County Center Drive, Oroville, California 95965.
2. That at the conclusion of said hearing the Board intends
to abandon said public utility easement.
3. That this abandonment proceeding is being conducted
pursuant to Chapter 3 of Part 3 of Division 9 of the California
Streets and Highways Code (commencing with Section 8320).
4. That this Resolution be posted and published pursuant to
the provisions of Chapter 3 of Part 3 of Division 9 of the
California Streets and Highways Code.

this 20th day of July 1989, by the following
vote:
